FILIPPO SORCINELLI

Filippo Sorcinelli is an Italian perfumer, artist, designer, organist, and founder whose work exists at the rare intersection of spirituality, sacred art, and olfactory expression. Born in Mondolfo, Italy, in 1975, he first gained recognition through LAVS (L’Atelier Vesti Sacre), the renowned atelier he founded in 2001 to create liturgical vestments and sacred objects for the Catholic Church. His craftsmanship led to collaborations with the Vatican, including garments designed for Popes Benedict XVI and Francis. In 2013, he co-founded the fragrance house UNUM, extending his artistic vision into perfumery and transforming the atmosphere of sacred spaces into scent.

Sorcinelli approaches perfume as a multidimensional art form, drawing on architecture, music, photography, liturgy, and memory to create deeply evocative compositions.
