Perfumer Roja Dove spent three years in the Middle East working closely with this legendary material to properly understand its complex nature. With this creation, precious Rose de Mai and Saffron create a beautiful foundation for Aoud to take centre stage, whilst a spicy and incredibly sensual base allow its beauty to resonate. It is the greatest compliment ever when Middle Eastern clients spray this Aoud and ask “how do you know our smell?” – ROJA DOVE

Rare and precious Aoud is swathed in Roses whilst underscored by Jasmine and Ylang Ylang, freshened by Geranium, Verbena, Bergamot, Lemon, and an unusual note of Rhubarb, warmed by Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Casmir Wood, Patchouli, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and costly Saffron, the whole nestling on a soft, sensual base of Ambergris, Vanilla, Musk, and Leather.

• Heart notes: Geranium, Rose de Mai, Jasmin de Grasse, Ylang Ylang.
