Activated charcoal: This ingredient is what makes this whitening chewing gum completely different, extremely gentle yet highly effective: activated charcoal removes discoloration without abrasives. Activated charcoal, a natural plant extract, adsorbs particles that can cause discoloration and gently removes them.

Glucose oxidase: This enzyme doesn’t take any prisoners when it comes to bacteria: glucose oxidase turns sugar into hydrogen peroxide, directly affecting bacteria. The saliva’s lactoperoxidase system is also activated at the same time. This system also has an antibacterial, antiviral and antimycotic effect, which prompts an additional whitening effect. Glucose oxidase is a completely natural enzyme. Bees use a chemical reaction between sugar and glucose oxidase to protect their honey from germs and preserve it. What’s more: the transformation of glucose oxidase sets off a completely natural and very gentle enzymatic whitening effect.
