Julien Rasquinet’s life underwent a remarkable transformation when fate intervened. His father’s chance encounter with the renowned nose Pierre Bourdon at an airport became the catalyst for this change. Despite having no prior knowledge of perfumery beyond his personal passion, Rasquinet reached out to Bourdon. In a stroke of perfumer’s intuition, Bourdon chose Julien as his final apprentice, passing on his invaluable legacy much like Edmond Roudnitska had done for him. This twist of fate not only altered Julien’s life but also ensured the continuation of a rich tradition in perfumery, guided by the mentorship of a master.
