As the journey continues, the whiteness of the opening gives way to a contrast of adamantine Geraniol and crushed Tobacco leaves, masterfully combined with the fresh Juniper Berry and the balsamic and resinous sweetness of Frankincense Resinoid.

But the adventure doesn’t stop there. In this aromatic expedition, the light fades as animalic inflections of Leather and Cypriol emerge, leaving only a reassuring spark of Ambroxan and Tonka Bean to illuminate the night. Pierre Négrin, hailing from a family of fragrance traders, honed his craft in a laboratory rather than in a conventional educational institution. His time spent in Mexico and New York left a lasting impact on his creations for Amouage, resulting in fragrances that are both worldly and practical. Pierre’s expertise lies in capturing the nuanced essence of dense balsams and absolutes, reflecting the intricacy and depth of his olfactory compositions.

Alberto Morillas, a renowned Spanish perfumer, is known for creating some of the world’s most iconic fragrances. He began his career at Firmenich, where he has created thousands of perfumes, including the famous CK One and Acqua di Giò. Morillas also has his independent line called Mizensir and a custom perfumery service called Bespoke by Alberto Morillas. He has a passion for Mediterranean scents and is inspired by the beauty of gardens. Morillas believes that perfumery is a reflection of society and sees creating fragrances as a personal and creative exercise. He has a fondness for rose notes and enjoys exploring different musks and orange blossom.
